Simon & Sarah
Simon and Sarah are founders and owners and managers of the Cafe Lala. Simon was a Barista in his home country in Europe and learn beverage making from his family who had a vineyard and delicatessen cafe in Europe. Simon migrated to Australia in 1960’s with his family and started a small cafe in the back streets of Geelong where he met Sarah his wife, the 2 settle down and ran the business together, and then raised a family.
Joshua
Joshua, 32 yo, Simon & Sarah’s eldest son grew up around the Cafe.
Joshua went to study marketing and landed a job in a medium size marketing business and developed his career in marketing there for 10 years.
Later he then gave up his career to spend full time marketing the family cafe business where it grew from 1 local cafe to a chain of 4 cafe’s across Melbourne and outer suburbs.
Rebecca
Rebecca, 30, Simon and Sarah’s eldest daughter grew up around the Cafe.
Rebecca went to study interior design and landed a job in a medium size building company where she new homes and office layouts and developed her career in interior designing there for 10 years.
Later she then gave up his career to spend full time in the family cafe business redesigning the cafe aesthetics layout and design of the original cafe and the further 3 additional cafe’s across Melbourne and outer suburbs.
